Later in life, he attended Stone Creek Baptist Church, where he served as an usher and member of the Male Choir, joyfully singing praises to the Lord. Hill, Isadore Fowler, and Willie Jean “Bose” (Lottie) Fowler; his loving grandson, LaRoche Fowler; and son-in-law, Richard Ford.

He will be remembered for his love of God and his family, that jubilant laugh, and the delicious collard greens he used to cook up every Sunday.
Public viewing will be held Thursday in the A.B. Thorpe Memorial Chapel of Paschal Memorial Funeral Home from 1pm - 6pm.
