Olene (Glover) Anderson

Paschal Memorial Funeral Home of 181 North Church Street, Jeffersonville, GA  announces funeral services for Mrs. Olene Glover Anderson, age 63, of Jeffersonville, GA, who was called into eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 9010 GA Hwy 129, Dry Branch, GA at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Olene was born on July 30, 1961, in Macon, GA, to the parentage of the late Susie Lee Thomas and the late Lucious Curry, Sr. She was raised by her great aunt and uncle, the late Jeanette and Charles Willie Glover.

Olene joined the Greater New Hope Baptist Church at an early age.

She graduated from Twiggs County High School in 1980. She was employed at Macon Garment for over 30 years until her health declined.

She was united in Holy Matrimony on December 30, 2010, to the late Garry Anderson.

Olene enjoyed fishing, traveling and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lucious Curry, Jr.

Olene was called to rest on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Jeffersonville Care Center with the care of Traditions Health Hospice Care.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, LaConta Stephens and J.T. Stephens, III of Macon, GA; two stepdaughters, Chasha Stephens of Gordon, GA and Brittany Anderson of Jeffersonville, GA; six sisters, Ilene Glover, Annette Gordon (Terry), Dorothy Quainton, and Frances King all of Jeffersonville, GA, Yvonne Thomas and Martha George of Macon, GA; one brother, Timothy Kemp (Margaret) of Macon, GA; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, two aunts, three uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held Friday in the A.B. Thorpe Memorial Chapel of Paschal Memorial Funeral Home from 1pm - 6pm.
