Paschal Memorial Funeral Home of 181 North Church Street, Jeffersonville, GA announces funeral services for Ms. Mildred Booze, age 67, of Atlanta, GA, and also a native of Twiggs County, who was called into eternal rest on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Beyond the Walls Baptist Church, 243 East Railroad Street, Jeffersonville, GA at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA.
It is only a select few who are courageous enough to serve this great nation of ours in a manner that leaves a positive and lasting impression on each and every life they encounter. Mildred Booze is one such person who has left such a legacy that we celebrate today. We join together today to honor her and thank her for all that she has done for her family, friends, and this great nation.
Mildred Booze, a soldier and a fighter, departed this life on July 20, 2025, at the age of 67.
Mildred was born on December 13, 1957, in Dry Branch, Georgia to the parentage of the late Johnnie “Jake” Booze and Lucy (Slappy) Booze. She was educated in the Twiggs County Public School system and received an Associates Degree in General Studies.
Mildred served as an exceptional soldier in the Army and retired after 21 years as a Sergeant First Class (SFC). She received the Legion of Merit, which is the highest military award received during peacetime and many other awards.
Mildred was preceded in death by both of her parents, Johnnie “Jake” Booze and Lucy (Slappy) Booze; and her sister, Winnie Ella (Booze) Stephens.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her three children: Xavizalunsha Dale of Hiram, Georgia, Donte’ (Monisha) Keller of Waldorf, Maryland, and Stefan Peters of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Dimitri Dale and Miles Keller.
She is survived by siblings: Minnie B. Curry (late Doc Curry) of Dry Branch, Georgia, Elizabeth Hollingsworth (late Wille B. Hollingsworth) of Macon, Georgia, Johnnie L. Booze (Mary) of Macon, Georgia, Paul L. Booze of Waldorf, Maryland, Christine Sanders of Macon, Georgia, and Zeter Booze.
There will be no public viewing.
